	Our clinic is now offering this service to our small animal and equine clients. The Home Again Identificaiton Microchip is easily implanted in your dog, cat or horse and provides permanent identification. A database is maintained with the AKC, so if your animal is ever lost or stolen it can always be traced back to you. Our office will also maintain a database of those animals that we implant.
	For our horse owners who may wish to use the new TAHC Equine Passport, permanent identification is required. The use of the microship implant is much more tolerated by our patients than a tattoo or brand. Mare owners may find it very useful to identify their new foals using this method. The microchip can be safely implanted when the baby receives it's first exam, shortly after birth.
